As October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we wanted to discuss ways to support breast cancer awareness. The most common ways to get involved are:

Make a donation

Donations can be to organizations like the Breast Cancer Research Foundation or the Joy to Life Foundation, which strive to raise awareness and find a cure.

Volunteer

Whether you’re a survivor, co-survivor or someone who cares about the cause, volunteering your time is a great way to give back.

Participate in a Walk/Race

The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® Series is the world’s largest and most successful education and fundraising event for breast cancer ever created. The series of 5K runs and fitness walks raises significant funds and awareness for the breast cancer movement, celebrates breast cancer survivorship and honors those who have lost their battle with the disease.

Purchase a Pink QMT Windchime

With the sale of every For the Girls pink chime, we give up to 50% to charities that support breast cancer awareness, research and the patients it affects.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women world-wide. More information about National Breast Cancer Awareness Month can be found on the World Health Organization’s website.

Have a blessed day,

Patty
